The pendants setting is handmade of 18 karat Rose Gold. Goldwork is set with a rare color of natural Green Turquoise at 3 carats in weight, 29 natural ocean seed pearls, an Old European Cut natural Diamond of .06 point which was hand cut using a diamond to cut the gemstone.
Turquoise gemstones were the height of fashion in the 1850s because of Queen Victoria's love for the stone. She had her Royal Jewelers design lovely pieces for her. American, French and other European followed the style of the Queen at that time in history. In this period Turquoise symbolized "Generosity."
