Georgian (Circa 1780) Emerald and Pearl Ring

Original 1780 Emerald Ring

This ring was handmade of 18 karat yellow gold by a goldsmith from the Boston area early in American history. The ring was handed down with in the original family for many generations. The center gemstone is a natural Emerald of about 20 points of a carat, then around the Emerald is set 8 Natural ocean Seed Pearls. The front of the ring is 7/8 of an inch long and 7/8 of an inch wide. The ring’s band has hand engraved shoulders and a Size 3 3/4 but can be resized larger or smaller. The ring is in excellent condition and this is lovely on the finger when worn.
